Bike Tire Pressure Calculator
This is the same engine that runs inside the Velo Garage app, not an approximation of it: pressure tables validated against pro data, adjusted for your weight, tire and rim width, surface, setup, and temperature. Change any input and watch the numbers move.

Conditions
Never exceed the maximum pressure printed on your tire or rim. Recommendations are a starting point: rate how each run feels and adjust.
How the number is built
The calculator starts from weight-indexed pressure tables for your exact tire size, front and rear separately, then applies each adjustment you can audit above: tubeless setups drop 6.5 PSI on road and gravel (4 PSI on MTB), rough surfaces take off 7.5 PSI, air pressure tracks temperature at 0.27 PSI per °C, and rims wider than standard shave up to 10 PSI. Wide tires get a lower safety floor than narrow ones, and anything past a sensible limit raises a warning instead of a silent number.
The same engine in the app goes further: it remembers each bike in your garage, pulls the live temperature where you are, learns your personal targets as you rate runs, and pairs the pressure with suspension sag, gearing, and your full service history.
